Professionally, being nominated at D&AD New Blood.

What are some small things that make your day better? 

Sunshine and lager.

Sometimes I eat butter on Weetabix (my Grandma’s ‘recipe’).

What inspires you?

Small-scale creativity. Innovative solutions, clever ideas and cute/funny answers to everyday problems.

And working with talented/passionate people – very invigorating.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

You’re only as good as your last job.

 

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do? 

Let my parents retire, and buy myself a ski chalet.

 

What’s your favourite quote?

People who are busy will always be average.

 

What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it?

Snowboarding.

How much money I would have if I bothered to keep all my change.

Squidgy; it’s fun to say.

 

What and where is Bristol’s hidden gem?

There are some cracking old pubs knocking around. If you see one that looks a bit rough, it’s probably absolute quality. (In my rural opinion).

 

What did you want to be when you were a child? 

England striker.

Write creatively and concisely.

 

How would you describe what Armadillo does?

We create campaigns that not only deliver fantastic results/return on investment, but also provide the platform for further campaigns to deliver even more fantastic results/return on investment.

 

What are the three best things about working at Armadillo?

The people, the brands, and the opportunity to make great work and see how it performs.

 

What do you like most about your job?

For me, writing is just a vehicle for creativity. But it’s the best one, because there is room for creative expression in every element of copywriting at an agency.
